We wanted to remind you about four Student Scholarship Essay Contests going on at FFRF!
You can make some extra dough this summer by writing a great essay.
Here are the four contests that you can still make the deadline for:
William J. Schulz Memorial Essay Contest
for College-Bound High School Seniors
This Year’s Topic: “Good without God”
First Place Prize: $3,500
Deadline: Fill out the application and submit your essay
no later than 11:59 pm, June 1, 2022.
Winners will be notified no later than August 2022.
Kenneth L. Proulx Memorial Essay Contest
for Ongoing College Students
This Year’s Topic: In God I Trust – NOT!
First Place Prize: $3,500
Deadline: Fill out application and submit your essay
no later than 11:59pm, June 1, 2022.
Winners will be notified no later than August 2022.
David Hudak Memorial Essay Contest
For Black, Indigenous and Students of Color
This Year’s Topic: “How atheism/humanism makes me a better person”
First Place Prize: $3,500
Deadline: Fill out application and submit your essay
no later than 11:59pm, June 1, 2022.
Winners will be notified no later than August 2022.
Cornelius Vander Broek Essay Contest
for Graduate/”Older” Students (To Age 30)
This Year’s Topic: “Why religion is not the answer”
First Place Prize: $3,500
Deadline: Fill out application and submit your essay
no later than 11:59pm, July 1, 2022.
Winners will be notified no later than September 2022.
We have already passed the deadline for the Diane and Stephen Uhl Essay Competition
for Law School Students (which was on March 15th 2022), but if you qualify for any of these
other four, get your essays in asap and earn some money for sharing your secular beliefs!
